Mr. Martin Ihatika - History & English
Welcome to Thika Road Christian High School, an oozing spring of knowledge. This Is where different aspects in academics are nurtured to enable students to grow to become
all rounded individuals in and after school. Spiritual growth and nourishment are our basic mandate to enable students to grow in faith and excellence. This is our basic calling.
The teachers are always eager to solve any student- related issues and even go beyond their teaching jurisdictions to ensure students needs are met.
Students also grow in co-curricular activities, which our school really embarks on and supports. Some of these include numerous clubs, which give skills to students who join them such as The St. John's Club, Art Club, Journalism Club, Robotics Club etc. This makes our school a hotbed of knowledge and skills.
Our schools also spearheads sporting activities which nurture the physical activeness of our students. Students are at liberty to engage in any of our sporting areas such as Swimming, Badminton, Athletics, Basketball, Soccer etc. From my desk as a PE teacher I encourage all my students to fully participate in these sports as they help their minds to eradicate stress and they feel rejuvenated.

Jacob Owuor - Sciences
Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is a composition of billions of stars, planets and exoplanets all suspended in space by gravity. How the Earth, like its neighbours, hangs in space maintaining orbit and religiously rotating about its own axis remains a baffle to many who venture to seek understanding. All physical existence in the universe cannot be explained except through the study of Physics. Physics attempts to get deep into all areas of existence explaining how things work including the simple walking we do, which is enhanced by the presence of friction.
In TRCHS, as we seek to help students develop the knowledge of the universe and its vastness, the student is guided to recognize and appreciate the power behind all things. We help them to know that there is God who rules the universe who is all-wise and all-knowing and appreciate what Paul said in Romans 11:33-36; “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
We aim to develop a responsible youth, knowledgeable in sciences and all academic facets and when they leave our school, they will have grown up to be better citizens who fear the LORD. That is the desire we have and what I want to work for.

May great effort spring from you naturally as you water positive attitude. Persistence wears out residence. Keep hitting at the rock till it cracks. Never lose hope for no matter how cloudy it looks when the plane takes off above the clouds the sun always shines brightly.
Develop a prayer life. Stay unshaken when things look tough. Believe in God and ability He has bestowed upon you. You have what it takes to be a winner.
Be a constant learner. You can only strike at the gold mine of fortune through applied knowledge. Knowledge is the new world currency. Your overall worth is a function of the depth of your insight.
You never get anything great done carelessly. Your library is the altar of your knowledge where your future is being created. Selfless commitment will bring ultra peak performance. Take great steps to make great things happen. It's the instruction you receive that determines the construction you enjoy.
Avoid convenient life. Live your life on commitment to commandments. You have been ordained for exploits. But you must develop principles to live by. If you don't have principles to live by you can't be a principal in any area. Peg your life on commandments and you end up a commander.
